The Edmund and Martha Clarke Endowed Graduate Fellowship honors faculty member and Turing Award winner Ed Clarke. Ed was passionate about his research and proud of the many accomplishments of his students, who often spoke of his unwavering support. To put that passion into action, he created the Edmund and Martha Clarke Endowed Graduate Fellowship before his death. Through this fellowship, Ed and his wife aimed to recognize, encourage and support outstanding CSD doctoral students in their research endeavors.
